43% of the Marietta borough has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places.  The borough maintains 3 parks, with baseball and soccer fields, play equipment, pavilions, snack bars, and restrooms.


Adjacent to the borough to the east lies a county park with soccer fields, a friendly hiking trail that overlooks the scenic Susquehanna River, and a boat launch. Within the <1 square mile borough are 8 restaurants, 6 churches, 4 Bed and Breakfasts Hotels, a Post Office, 1 deli, and several antique and gift stores.
